Sergio Garcia

Sergio Garcia is an experienced legal and strategic business executive currently serving as a Board Trustee for the San Francisco Foundation. As Founder and Principal of Garcia Strategic Advisors, LLC since January 2018, Garcia provides expert guidance in strategic advisory services. Previously, Garcia held the position of Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at ZELTIQ from 2012 to 2017, where responsibilities included acting as chief legal officer and overseeing corporate compliance for a high-growth medical technology company. Earlier in the career, Garcia was a Partner at Reed Smith LLP and Fenwick and West, advising on various corporate transactions and securities matters. Additionally, Garcia served as Vice President, Legal and General Counsel at PDL BioPharma, providing key legal and strategic advice to executive leadership.
