Joe Burn

Joe Burn is an accomplished news editor currently building an innovative digital newsroom at The San Francisco Standard since August 2022. Previously, Joe served as a Local Democracy Content Editor at Reach plc, where responsibilities included managing a team of political reporters and enhancing content quality in the West Midlands. Joe's career also includes positions as Editor of the Isle of Wight Observer, where a startup weekly newspaper and digital audience were created, and as a reporter for various media outlets including Trinity Mirror plc and BBC Radio. Joe holds a BA Hons in Journalism from Leeds Beckett University and San Diego State University.
