Jonathan Schaefer

Jonathan Schaefer is a dynamic leader in youth soccer development with extensive experience in coaching, education, and program management. Currently serving as the Technical Director for the Edina Soccer Association, Jonathan focuses on fostering a positive soccer culture and guiding coaching methodologies. As the Director of Soccer & Recreational Business at The Sanneh Foundation, Jonathan builds partnerships to enhance youth programming and oversees numerous summer camps. With a long-standing commitment to soccer improvement through FootHolde, Jonathan also educates grassroots coaches for the U.S. Soccer Federation and has played pivotal roles in coaching and player development in various soccer associations. Jonathan holds a Master of Arts in Kinesiology, Sports Management from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.
