Patia Thao is an experienced professional in youth and community recreation with a strong background in program management and support roles. As a Recreation Supervisor for the City of Brooklyn Park, MN from October 2021 to April 2024, Patia oversaw various recreational programs, building on prior experience as a Youth Support Specialist-School Outreach at the YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities from October 2019 to October 2021. Additional roles include Youth Center Coordinator at YMCA - Andover and Program Director at YMCA Twin Cities, along with early experiences as a Beacons Youth Worker and in retail with Target. Patia holds a degree from Minneapolis College, completed between 2010 and 2013.
