Albert Rybalkin

Albert Rybalkin has over twenty years of experience in software engineering and database administration. Albert began their career in 1993 as Lead Software Engineer at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, where they designed and coded software, as well as designed and implemented Oracle7 databases, and administered and tuned Oracle 7.x. In 1998, they became Oracle DBA at TheStreet.com/Forbes.com, Inc., where they were responsible for everything Oracle-related. From 2003 to 2005, they were Database Administrator at NF Clearing Co (part of Fidelity Investments, Inc., former FISERV Securities, Inc.), where they provided 24x7 DBA production support to Oracle 9i and 10g databases running on SUN Solaris and Linux platforms. In 2007, they became a Consultant at IRAL Services, where they administered Oracle Exadata database machines, and provided database scripts for new code deployments. From 2011 to 2013, they were Sr. Oracle DBA at IBM, where they were responsible for running Oracle databases and supporting backroom operations for a number of products. In 2021, they began their current role as Embedded Software Engineer at Sapling, Inc.

Albert Rybalkin received their BS/MS in Applied Mathematics from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute) between 1987 and 1993. Albert also holds certifications from CSME, Microsoft Corp., Oracle Corp., and The Chauncey Group International, including ITIL v3 Foundation, MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), Oracle Exadata 11g Certified Implementation Specialist, Oracle7 Certified DBA, Oracle7.3 Certified DBA, and Oracle8 Certified DBA.
