Alice Hooper-Scott has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Alice is currently serving as the Head of The School of Life for Business at The School of Life, where they utilize psychology, behavioral science, and philosophy to assist employees and organizations in learning, changing, and growing. Their expertise includes improving performance, motivation, relationships, wellbeing, and resilience at all stages of one's career.
Prior to this, Alice held key positions at Development Beyond Learning (DBL). As the Global Chief Behavioral Officer, they led the design team, implemented agile and global resourcing processes, and successfully pivoted the client offering from face-to-face to virtual during the pandemic. Alice also served as the Managing Director for EMEA & Americas, where they achieved significant business growth, expanded the team, and enhanced profitability.
Before their time at DBL, Alice worked at Mind Gym as the Global Head of Solutions Strategy. Alice led a team of psychologists and behavioral scientists to strategically partner with clients, driving profitable and evidence-based programs that facilitated sustained behavior change and transformed performance within organizations.
Alice's earlier experience includes co-founding Leo Burnett Change, a non-profit and behavioral change division of the Leo Burnett Group, where they managed client relationships and spearheaded campaigns using principles from behavioral science. Alice also served as a Client Service Director and Board Account Director at Leo Burnett Group, working on various accounts such as DFT, Kellogg's, vitaminwater, Littlewoods, and Dewar's.
Furthermore, Alice worked as an Account Director at RKCR Y&R, where they oversaw accounts for Marks & Spencer, Lloyds TSB, Bel Group, and played a pivotal role in launching a fund for women called "Rosa" and attracting funding for "The Healing Foundation". Alice began their career at TBWA as an Account Manager, working with clients like Sony Playstation, Labour election 2005, Muller, Masterfoods, and TLF's Safer Travel at Night campaign.
Throughout their career, Alice has demonstrated a strong track record of driving growth, leading teams, and implementing effective strategies to deliver tangible results.
Alice Hooper-Scott began their education in 2000 at the University of Cambridge, where they studied Social & Political Sciences until 2003. After a gap in their education, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Behavioural Science at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2017 to 2018. In 2019, they attended the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) to obtain a Co-Active Coach certification.
