Alastair Robertson is an experienced professional currently serving as the Head of Heat Network Capital Delivery and Scotland's Heat Network Fund at The Scottish Government since 2020, where Alastair has also held the roles of Low Carbon Innovation Policy Officer and Heat Networks Delivery Manager. Prior to this, Alastair worked as an Assistant Technical Manager at Ofgem from September 2017 to March 2020. Alastair's prior experience includes positions as a Soil Science Research Assistant and Student Researcher at The James Hutton Institute, where research focused on hydraulic conductivity in soil under different tillage methods. Alastair also completed a summer placement at Altus Intervention as a Wireline Placement, gaining valuable skills in servicing logging and perforation tools. Alastair holds a 1st class Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Aberdeen and a Master of Science in Sustainability Studies from the University of Strathclyde.
