Angus Robertson

Angus Robertson is a seasoned political leader currently serving as the Member of the Scottish Parliament for Edinburgh Central and as Cabinet Secretary for the Constitution, External Affairs and Culture in the Scottish Government since May 2021. As Managing Director of Progress Scotland, Robertson focuses on advocating for Scotland's progression towards independence. With a strong background in international affairs, Robertson served as Member of Parliament for Moray from 2001 to 2017, holding key roles including Spokesman on International Affairs and Defence. Additionally, Robertson has been involved with various organizations, including the Scottish Policy Foundation and previously held positions in the Scottish National Party. Education was completed at the University of Aberdeen with a degree in Politics and International Relations. Recognized for contributions to public service, Robertson was appointed to the Privy Council and received honors from the Austrian Republic.
