Christina Stokes is an accomplished communications and policy professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the Scottish Government and the National Records of Scotland. Currently serving as the Head of Wellbeing, Culture and Equalities in the Health Workforce Directorate since January 2020, Christina has held various significant positions including Unit Head for Place Based Service Change and Delivery, and Head of Policy Engagement and Strategy Unit during the Covid Recovery efforts. Prior experience includes leading Census Communications and serving as Strategy and Communications Manager at the National Records of Scotland. Christina's earlier roles span media management, account management, and journalism, starting as a reporter and features writer. Christina holds a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford and a Postgraduate Diploma in Newspaper Journalism from Cardiff University.
