Kate Donaldson currently serves as a User Research Lead in the Digital Transformation team at The Scottish Government, focusing on research that supports digital transformation and service design across public services in Scotland. Previously, Kate managed user research teams within the Social Security Programme and worked as a User Researcher. Prior to this role, Kate was a Lecturer at the University of Dundee, teaching modules in MSc Design Ethnography and MSc Service Design, as well as leading the Design Methods for Insight Gathering module for first-year BSc Digital Interaction Design students. Kate's career began with a role in Web Accessibility at Perth & Kinross Council. Kate holds an MSc in Design Ethnography and a First Class BSc in Interactive Media Design, both from the University of Dundee.
