Kristen Anderson

Kristen Anderson is a highly experienced planning professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Principal Planner at The Scottish Government since February 2005, Kristen has been involved in masterplan consent areas, simplified planning zones, and various development planning initiatives, including green networks and renewable energy legislation. Prior experience includes a role as Planner at Aberdeen City Council, focusing on local planning and retail monitoring, and a summer placement at Orkney Islands Council, contributing to conservation area appraisals and housing design briefs. Kristen holds a BSc in Town and Regional Planning from The University of Dundee and has gained international perspective through studies at Katholeike Universiteit Nijmegen.
