Lesley Thomson has extensive experience in learning and development, currently serving as the Learning and Development Lead at the Scottish Government since January 2007. Additional roles include Engagement Lead for the National Performance Framework and Creativitor, focusing on fostering creativity and innovation. Prior to this, Lesley worked as a Knowledge Manager and Website Officer at UK Trade and Investment, where training colleagues worldwide was a highlight. Earlier experience includes serving as a Security Specialist at the Department for Work and Pensions, concentrating on IT, information, and physical security. Lesley holds a Master of Science in Digital Education from The University of Edinburgh and a PGDip in Information and Library Studies from Robert Gordon University, along with an MA(Hons) in History and Economic History from the University of Aberdeen.
