Mairi Macpherson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the Scottish Government, currently serving as Deputy Director for Improving Health and Wellbeing and previously as Deputy Director for Creating Positive Futures within the Children and Families Directorate. Mairi also held the position of Person-Centred and Quality Team Leader. Prior to this, Mairi was the Policy Team Leader for Police and Fire Reform from April 2007 to December 2012. Mairi holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Social and Political Science from the University of Cambridge, where studies were completed from 1993 to 1996, following education at Falkirk High School from 1987 to 1993.
