Sarah G.

Sarah G. is the Head of Genomics, Diagnostics and Business Management at The Scottish Government, a position held since September 2012, where Sarah leads the delivery of Scotland's first genomics strategy and diagnostics framework, as well as overseeing rare disease policy. Previous roles include Interim Unit Head for National and Specialist Services, Team Leader for Rare Diseases and National Planning, and Senior Policy Lead for Mental Health Workforce and Stakeholder Engagement. Additionally, Sarah has experience as the DYW Employer Engagement Manager and has held various positions in project management and event planning. Earlier in the career, Sarah worked as an Administration Officer for Debt Management and Banking at HM Revenue & Customs. Educational qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Business Management from the University of the West of Scotland, along with degrees in Business Administration and Management from Coatbridge College.
