Emily Jean Rosser

Emily Jean Rosser is a digital content manager and brand photographer based in Lynchburg, Virginia. Emily has over five years of experience in the photography and media industry, having worked as an internet media specialist/photographer, product specialist, multimedia consultant, and intern at various companies. In their current role at The Scout Guide, they are responsible for managing the company's digital content and brand photography.

Emily Jean Rosser started their career in 2013 as an intern at Ham Bone Productions, a recording and production studio in Lynchburg, Virginia. There, they assisted the owner with various tasks, observed and gave input to recording and producing sessions, wrote and gave input for songwriting, obtained mechanical licenses and consulted clients on projects, and recorded their own demo. After their internship ended, Rosser went on to work as a singer/songwriter under their own name.

In 2014, Rosser began working as a barista at Nordstrom. Emily held this position until 2016 when they left to take a job as a product specialist with Apple. In this role, Rosser was responsible for providing product support and training to customers in the Red Zone at Apple stores. Emily also became a Mobile Certified Technician during their time with the company. Rosser left Apple in September 2016 to pursue photography full-time.

Rosser founded their own photography business, EJR Photography, in 2016. Emily operated the business for two years before joining The Scout Guide as their digital content manager and brand photographer in 2018. In their current role, Rosser is responsible for managing the company's digital content and brand photography.

Emily Jean Rosser received their Bachelors of Music from James Madison University, where they studied music industry and vocal performance.

Emily Jean Rosser reports to Susie Matheson, Co-Founder. They work with Rebekah Bonds - Design Manager, Jackie Brandmaier - Enablement Manager, and Laura Kocher - Director, Operations & Finance.
