Frank Mina has extensive experience in journalism and design, currently serving as the Senior Assistant Managing Editor at The Seattle Times since May 2015, where leadership includes daily operations of news, graphics, and design desks, and participation in strategic newsroom initiatives. Prior to this role, Frank spent nearly 18 years at the San Francisco Chronicle, progressing through various positions including Deputy Managing Editor and Assistant Managing Editor, where notable achievements included developing content strategies for a subscriber site and overseeing a redesign that received an Award of Excellence. Earlier in Frank's career, graphic artistry was further honed at The Modesto Bee and foundational skills were developed at Humboldt State University, culminating in a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism.
