Mark Burton

Mark Burton is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in electronics design and leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as the Engineering Team Lead and Principal Electronics Engineer at Seaward Group since August 2021, Mark leads new product development for both Seaward and Rigel Medical equipment. Previously, during tenure at Turntide Technologies, Mark spearheaded the standardization of electronics design, addressed EMC issues, and designed electric coolant pumps. As Engineering Director at Halo Thermal Imaging, Mark oversaw the development of advanced thermal imaging cameras and managed both electronics and mechanical designs. In earlier roles at AVID Technology and Filtronic, Mark led teams in electronics design and managed the Arena PLM system. Mark holds a Master’s degree in Electronics & Communications from the University of Teesside and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Teesside University.
