Rob Michaels

Rob Michaels has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Rob is currently working as a Writer for Roku Inc. since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Writer for Bell Media and Truly Social Games in 2021. In 2018, Rob served as an Improv, Sketch, & TV Writing Instructor and later became the Camp Director at The Second City. Rob also co-founded and wrote for Wishful Genies, a comedy sketch channel featured on various online platforms. Additionally, Rob has worked as a Story Editor at marblemedia, a Content Writer at Magmic, and a Consultant at OLAP Vision. Rob started their career as a Financial Analyst at TAO Asset Management and Unilever in 2014.

Rob Michaels attended the University of Waterloo from 2010 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Mathematics degree. Simultaneously, they also attended Wilfrid Laurier University during the same period, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance.
