Kaitlyn Matthews

Kaitlyn Matthews is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and operational roles within social services and nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at The Second Step since October 2021, Kaitlyn has held various positions there, including Assistant Executive Director and Quality Improvement Coordinator. Prior experience includes Program Director at NFI Massachusetts, Inc., and Director of Youth and Prevention Programs at The Second Step. Kaitlyn's background also includes advocacy roles at AIDS Action Committee and New Reach, Inc., as well as customer service experience at Macy's. Academically, Kaitlyn holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University, a Master of Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Boston University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of New Haven.
