Lauren Clausen has extensive experience in strategic operations, customer care, and innovation management, currently serving as a Board Member at The Second Step and a Senior Manager for Strategy & Innovation at Toast. With a career that includes roles at Iron Mountain where Lauren led various strategic initiatives in Product Management and Innovation, Lauren has also co-chaired the Girl Scouts of Eastern MA and actively participated on the Marketing Committee for The Boston Club. Lauren Clausen holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Strayer University and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Marymount Manhattan College.

Based in Newton, Massachusetts, The Second Step provides free, trauma-informed services for survivors of domestic violence throughout Greater Boston and beyond. We are dedicated to ending the cycle of abuse with our wraparound support, including safety planning, legal advocacy, counseling, housing stabilization, support groups, and community education. These services help survivors heal and thrive while raising awareness to prevent abuse and build healthier communities.
