Marie Brault has extensive experience in the legal and governance sectors, currently serving as Vice-présidente for Governance, Investments, and Legal Affairs at Banque Nationale du Canada since June 2005, and as Vice-President of Legal Services at Banque Nationale Investissements since August 2015. In addition, Marie holds a position on the Advisory Committee on Investment Products at Autorité des marchés financiers since September 2018 and has been serving as President of the Board of Governors at the Investment Funds Institute of Canada since September 2024. Marie also chaired the Board of Directors at Collège Jacques Prévert from November 2020 to October 2024. Prior to these roles, Marie worked as an Associate at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP and Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP. Marie earned an LL.M. in Law from Université de Montréal and an LL.B. from Université de Sherbrooke.
