Robert Butts

Robert Butts is an accomplished information technology professional with extensive experience in IT operations and management. Currently serving as the Director of Information Technology Operations at The Select Group since January 2025, Robert leads the internal IT & Security team, focusing on optimizing operational technologies, ensuring compliance, and promoting competitive growth. Previous roles include Information Technology Operations Manager at Smart Start, Inc., Manager of IT Operations Support at First American Payment Systems, and Senior Manager of Infrastructure at Essilor of America, where expertise contributed to advancements in the corrective lenses industry. Robert's career also includes significant positions at Anderson Merchandisers, Wheeling-Nisshin, Inc., and service as a Board Member for the Brooke County Public Service District. Additionally, Robert briefly played as an offensive lineman for the USFL Orlando Renegades. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University.
