Tajha Winkle

Tajha Winkle is an accomplished illustrator and animator with extensive experience in children's media and community engagement. Currently serving as a Jamaican Correspondent for Reconnect JA and represented by The Seymour Agency, Tajha works on international and domestic illustrated publishing projects. With a focus on children's books that promote self-love, heritage, and black positivity, Tajha's expertise includes rendering curly-haired characters. Previous roles include Social Media and Online Community Manager for Kingston Creative, Freelance Comic Artist for The Ministry of Health and Wellness, and Freelance Animator for Sesame Workshop. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation from the University of the West Indies and a Job Certificate in Digital Marketing from HEART TRUST/NTA GARMEX ACADEMY.
