Kamala Peterson

Kamala Peterson is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in both residential and commercial design. Currently serving as a Design Consultant at The Shade Store since March 2020, Kamala provides expertise in window covering projects and collaborates with designers to ensure seamless project execution. As the Sole Proprietor of Kamala Design since January 2001, Kamala specializes in various design services, including color consulting, space planning, and finish selection. Previous roles include Family Advocate at the Family Education & Resource Center, Interior Designer at HomeSite Services, Bath Designer at Home Depot Interiors, and Professional Paint Advisor at Dunn-Edwards. Kamala Peterson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute of California.
