Sam Mofokeng is an experienced educator and rugby coach with a diverse background in secondary education and coaching roles across various institutions. Currently serving as the Rugby 1st XV Defence Coach and Rugby U20 Attack Coach at the University of Cape Town since May 2021, as well as the Craven Week u18 XV Head Coach for the Western Province Rugby Football Union since March 2024, Mofokeng has also held positions at Bishops Diocesan College as a History Teacher and 1st XV Assistant Coach since April 2021. Previously, Mofokeng taught English at Kearsney College, Michaelhouse, and St Alban's College, where responsibilities included coaching rugby and cricket at various levels. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Education from the University of South Africa and a Level III Rugby Coaching certification from World Rugby.
