Phillip Griffith

Phillip Griffith serves as the Editorial Director at The Shed in New York since March 2018, where responsibilities include conceptualizing editorial strategy, managing public-facing content production, and developing The Shed's editorial tone across platforms. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Editor and Editor at The Brooklyn Rail and positions focused on art publications at Baruch College and other educational institutions. An academic background includes a PhD in French from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, an MA in French Cultural Studies from Columbia University, and a BA in English and French from The University of Georgia. Additionally, Phillip has experience in teaching creative writing and curatorial programming.
