The Shefa School
Stephanie Weinstein has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Teacher at The Shefa School since August 2019. Prior roles include Hebrew Teacher at Shorashim K-6 Hebrew School, Preschool Teacher at Beth El Synagogue Center, and a Sales Associate at Gap. Additionally, Stephanie worked as a 1-1 Aide at HCA - Helping Celebrate Abilities, supporting a child with special needs, and gained practical experience as an Intern/Substitute at The Discovery Center of the Southern Tier. Stephanie holds a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Special Education: Learning Disabilities from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Binghamton University.
The Shefa School
The Shefa School is a Jewish community day school in Manhattan serving students in grades 1–8 who benefit from a specialized educational environment in order to develop their strengths while addressing their learning challenges. We specifically serve students with language-based learning disabilities who have not yet reached their potential levels of success in traditional classroom settings. Shefa is a pluralistic community school serving families across the range of Jewish involvement and observance.
