Victoria Messler

Head Of Curriculum at The Shefa School

Victoria Messler has extensive work experience in the education field. Victoria began their career at The Smith School in 2001 as a Learning Specialist, where they worked until 2006. In 2006, they joined The Gateway School as a Special Education Teacher and Curriculum Director. During their time at The Gateway School, they also served as the Acting Director of Middle School from 2009 to 2015. In 2016, Victoria joined Tinkergarten as a Teacher and worked there until 2020. Most recently, they are the Head of Curriculum at The Shefa School, starting in 2020.

Victoria Messler obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Fine/Studio Arts, General from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. Victoria then pursued a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Special Education and Teaching at Hunter College from 2004 to 2008.

The Shefa School

The Shefa School is a Jewish community day school in Manhattan serving students in grades 1–8 who benefit from a specialized educational environment in order to develop their strengths while addressing their learning challenges. We specifically serve students with language-based learning disabilities who have not yet reached their potential levels of success in traditional classroom settings. Shefa is a pluralistic community school serving families across the range of Jewish involvement and observance.
