Claire Dodson has a strong background in education and business. Claire began their career as a lecturer at Lincoln College in 2012, before moving on to Doncaster College in 2010. Claire then joined Sheffield Hillsborough College in 2013, where they worked as a Business Studies lecturer and Course Leader. In 2018, they transitioned to The Sheffield College, initially serving as the Deputy Head of Learning Business and Public Services. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Academy - Business. Throughout their career, Claire has demonstrated a commitment to teaching and leadership in the educational sector.
Claire Dodson has a diverse education history. Claire earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Doncaster in 2010-2013 and also completed a Diploma and Certificate in teaching in the lifelong learning sector from Doncaster University Centre in 2011-2012 and 2010-2011 respectively. Claire further pursued education by obtaining an MA Applied professional studies in Education from The University of Sheffield in 2017-2019. Claire also achieved a BTEC Diploma in Business and Finance from North Nottinghamshire College in 1996-1998 and completed a Preparing to teach in the lifelong learning sector program at the same college in 2006-2007. Finally, they became a HEA Fellow in Higher Education after completing a program at The Sheffield College in 2017.
