Dave King

Dave King is currently the EVP of Sales, East at The Shelby Group. Prior to this, they were with ACCO Brands as the Business Intelligence Architect from April 2012 to August 2014. Dave was responsible for leading 2 developers and 1 off-shore DBA in designing and implementing a financial analysis and profitability tool. Dave also architected a Global Data Warehouse to store and report on financial data along the order-to-cash and procure-to-pay cycles across 5+ source systems. In addition, they designed and implemented a Master Data Management solution to streamline data upkeep and reporting across regions/source systems. Dave King was also with Tribune Company from January 2012 to April 2012 as a Systems Analyst where they were responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting the full Microsoft BI Stack. Prior to that, they were with Uline from November 2007 to December 2011 as a Business Intelligence Analyst. Dave was responsible for leading a team of 10 technical and business resources to design and build a custom Warehouse Automation and Reporting System. Dave also provided regular status updates to Executive Team on new Warehouse Automation and Reporting System. In addition, they designed and implemented an Enterprise Data Warehouse to support distribution center productivity and accuracy reporting using SQL/SSIS/SSRS using data from SQL Server, AS/400, Oracle and flat files. Dave King also lead monthly internal classes to teach technical skills (including SQL and SSRS) to business power users to empower self-service reporting in the business while freeing IT time for other priorities. Dave facilitated regular meetings and communications with power users, technical staff and executive teams on major IT projects.

Dave King has a BSC in Management and Economics from DePaul University. Dave also has certification from Coupa Software in Coupa Technical Architect and Coupa Partner Certification: Procure to Pay.

Their manager is Jim Kandilas, CEO. They are on a team with Julie Floyd - VP, Client Services, Mohmed El-Ammori - Director, and Charles Barlow - Managing Director, Advanced Platform Practice.
