Richard Towner

Richard Towner possesses extensive experience in operations management within the chemical and aviation industries. From January 2008 to January 2021, Richard served as Chief Operating Officer and General Manager at The Shepherd Chemical Company, a family-owned specialty chemical firm recognized for its strong customer partnerships. Prior to this role, Richard was Head of Global Operations and Operations Manager, overseeing manufacturing and supply chain teams across multiple international sites. Richard's career began at GE Aviation, where over a 15-year period, various leadership and process engineering roles were undertaken, highlighting expertise in continuous improvement and manufacturing management. Richard holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
