Chris Cochran

Chris Cochran has had a long and varied career in the fields of marketing, recruiting, and production. Chris began their career in 1988 as an Account Executive at Telcomp, a graphic design firm. After two years, they moved on to MGZ Graphics, where they worked as both an Associate Publisher for ReDo Magazine and a Distribution Manager for The Dayton Apartment Guide. In 1994, they began a period of freelance work in Columbus, followed by freelance work in Los Angeles in 1996. In 1998, they joined Brown, Van Remmen, Kanuit as an Executive Recruiter. Chris then moved to Maritz in 2006, where they worked as a Talent Acquisition Manager. In 2009, they joined Portfolio Creative as a Senior Director of Client Services. Finally, in 2016, they founded Cochran Executive Search, and in 2022 they became the Vice President of Talent at The Shipyard.

Chris Cochran received a B.A. in Journalism from The Ohio State University and graduated from Upper Arlington H.S. Additionally, they are a Certified Staffing Professional from the American Staffing Association.
