Oliver (Siyuan) Cao

Oliver (Siyuan) Cao's work experience includes working at The Six Semiconductor as a Senior IP Validation Engineer since May 2022, and previously as an IP Validation Engineer from May 2021 to May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Intern (paid, voluntary) at AMD from July 2018 to July 2019. During their time at AMD, Oliver provided customer regular and bring-up support, handled debug and validation requests from the CE team, and contributed to customer on-site support for a confidential program. Oliver (Siyuan) also introduced automation tools to improve debug and validation capability, provided training to team members, and created a local mirror server to enhance user experience. Additionally, Oliver performed regular validation on internal projects, constructed test plans, analyzed test results, collaborated with teams in Austin and Taiwan, and introduced and verified possible solutions and improvements.

Oliver (Siyuan) Cao attended the University of Toronto from 2015 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the Certified Red Team Expert (CRTE) and Certified Red Team Professional (CRTP) from Pentester Academy in January 2021 and December 2020, respectively. Oliver (Siyuan) also received the eLearnSecurity Certified eXploit Developer (eCXD) certification from eLearnSecurity in September 2020. Furthermore, they completed the Google IT Automation Professional Certificate from Coursera in August 2020. Oliver also holds certifications such as the eLearnSecurity Certified Professional Penetration Tester (eCPPTv2), eLearnSecurity Web Application Penetration Tester (eWPT), Cisco Networking Basics Specialization, and eLearnSecurity Junior Penetration Tester (eJPT), which were obtained in 2020.
