Timothy Elizabeth Xavier is a Senior Administrative Assistant to the Department Head at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the Department of Chemistry, a position held since February 2022. With a diverse background in coaching and education, Timothy has also served as a Team Excel Synchronized Skating Team Coach and a Learn to Skate USA Coach at The Skating Club of Boston since September 2011. Prior experience includes roles as an Elementary School Teacher and COZ Club Leader for the City of Pawtucket, RI, from October 2014 to February 2022, as well as coaching for Mini Crystals Synchronized Skating Teams and working as a Textile Dye Lab Technician at Kenyon Industries. Timothy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel and Textile Marketing Management from the University of Rhode Island, completed in 2005.
