Poyuan Chiu began their work experience in 2015 as an IGIP sales representative for AIESEC UK. In 2016, they became the President of the University of Glasgow Japanese society. Most recently, in 2019, they started working as a Finance Analyst for The Smart Container Company.

Poyuan Chiu's education history begins in 2014 when they enrolled at the University of Glasgow. They pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) (Hons) in Economics, completing the program in 2018.
