Dr. Steve Taylor is an experienced professional in the field of people analytics, currently serving as Managing Director and Chief of Staff at The Smarty Train since January 2021. Prior to this role, Dr. Taylor worked at Deutsche Bank from November 2011 to September 2020, where responsibilities included Global Head of People Analytics and Global Co-Head of HRMI & People Analytics. Dr. Taylor's leadership at Deutsche Bank focused on enhancing people reporting and analytics aligned with business priorities. Earlier, from July 2003 to November 2011, Dr. Taylor was a Senior Manager at PwC within the Saratoga consulting team, specializing in human capital analytics for various high-profile organizations. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Earth Science and a BSc (Hons) in Geology from the University of Southampton, as well as a Research Fellowship in Meteorology from the University of Reading.
