Mathura "Temwa" Mahendren is an experienced Celebrant at metemwaphasis since July 2019, specializing in creating personalized experiences that support change and transition through various ceremonies and rituals. As an Author & Practitioner with Dismantling the Master's Tools since March 2021, Mathura also develops curricula and instructs at McMaster University while contributing as a Design Specialist at The Smarty Train. Prior roles include Program Manager at the Department of Imaginary Affairs, Research and Storytelling Specialist at Youth and Philanthropy Initiative Canada, Digital Storytelling Consultant at The University of Lethbridge, and Design Coach with Youth Climate Lab. Mathura holds a Master of Design in Strategic Foresight and Innovation from OCAD University and a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) in Global Health from McMaster University.
