Julia Farrant has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Julia has worked as the Head of People and Culture at The Smith Family since 2022. Before that, they were a Business Transformation Consultant and Interim Executive at Absolute HR from 2015 to 2022, providing HR services and advice to different businesses. Julia also served as the Chief People Officer at Ovato, a media and printing company, from 2019 to 2021. Julia has experience in the non-profit sector as a Non Executive Board Director for Aftercare from 2016 to 2021. Julia was a GLG COUNCIL Consultant at GLC Group from 2015 to 2021. Julia held the role of Chief People Officer at PMP Limited in 2018. Prior to that, Julia was the Executive General Manager of People and Culture at Fuji Xerox Australia in 2017. Julia has a strong background in HR, having served as VP Human Resources for Global Customer Development and VP Human Resources for Unilever Australasia at Unilever from 2007 to 2014. Julia Farrant received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Bournemouth University in the years 1986-1988. Julia also obtained a CNAA Post Graduate diploma in Personnel Management/IR Graduate of the Institute of Personnel Management from The Manchester Metropolitan University in the years 1988-1989, specializing in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration and Industrial Relations. In 2015, they became a Member of the Australian Institute of Directors. Julia Farrant is also certified as an Executive Coach from the Australian Institute of Coaching.
