Esther Foreman

CEO at The Social Change Agency

Esther Foreman is the CEO of The Social Change Agency. Esther has over fifteen years experience in social change, movement building and philanthropy.

Esther started their career as a strategic advisor for Hubbub Fundraising, where they worked for two years before becoming the head of programme design at Wayra, an accelerator programme for tech startups. Esther then became the CEO of The Social Change Agency in 2013.

During their time at The Social Change Agency, they have been responsible for designing and scaling social movements to create change on a local and global level. This has included work on The People's Accelerator, The Cities Programme and HeadStart.

Esther is also a trustee of the MS Society, where they have helped to shape strategy and policy around social change and movement building.

Esther Foreman has a MPhil in Anthropology from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), a Systems Thinking for Effective Action certification from the Schumacher Institute for Sustainable Systems, a Diploma in Executive Coaching from the Institute for Leadership and Management, a Master's degree in Anthropology, Psycology and Sociology of Religion from King's College London, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy and Religious Studies from King's College London. Esther is also certified by the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) in I.L.M Executive Leadership Coaching.

Sapna Patel - Director of Operations, Kate Edwards - Head of Communications, and Andy King - Communications Manager report to Esther Foreman.
