EV Battery Deputy Chief Engineer at Alpine

Lotfi Arab serves as the EV Battery Deputy Chief Engineer at Alpine since January 2021, focusing on the development of high-performance EV battery systems for a new application with advanced features, including high energy capacity using new NMC chemistry. Prior to this role, Lotfi Arab was the Engineering Leader for EV Battery at Renault Sport Cars from September 2013 to January 2021, where responsibilities included upstream development of the first EV battery pack system and designing lightweight housing and covers for the battery. Lotfi Arab also held the position of Powertrain Engineering Leader, contributing to the Alpine A110's gasoline powertrain. Educational credentials include a Licence in Mechanical Systems Conception from Sup de Vinci and a DUT in Mechanical and Product Engineering from IUT Ville d'Avray, supplemented by various training programs from IFP training.
