Elizabeth Rose

Director at The Society of Composers & Lyricists

Elizabeth Rose is a board member at The Society of Composers & Lyricists, and a playwright and performer. Elizabeth has also been a teacher and grantwriter for the NYC Department of Education, and the president of Elizabeth Rose Productions.

Rose began their career as a guest lecturer at Yale University in September 2012, where they demonstrated how the Beatles used the guitar as a composition instrument. Elizabeth then went on to be a part of The Cherry Lane Theatre Mentor Project in February 2012. After their time there, they became a teacher and grantwriter for the NYC Department of Education, where they worked until December 2011. In January 2005, Rose became the president of Elizabeth Rose Productions.

Elizabeth Rose has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Boston University and a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Nebraska. Elizabeth also has a certification from GRANTSMANSHIP in NY PERMANENT TEACHING CERTIFICATE 7-12 SOCIAL STUDIES.
