Robert L. Jackson

Robert L. Jackson currently serves as a Senior Research Fellow at Flagler College, focusing on K-12 classical education in Florida since January 2024. In December 2023, Robert became a Senior Fellow at The Society of Gilbert Keith Chesterton, where responsibilities include coordinating the strategy and development of the Chesterton School Network. As the Founder of Classical Commons, established in September 2023, Robert has created a membership network aimed at supporting classical education through talent generation and resource allocation. Previously, Robert held significant roles at Great Hearts Academies from August 2013 to August 2023, including Founding Executive Director and Chief Academic Officer, and served as an Associate Professor of English and Education at The King's College from January 2001 to July 2013. Robert earned a Ph.D. in Education from Florida State University, completing the program between 1992 and 1999.
