Mary Chou-Thompson has a diverse work experience, primarily in marketing and communications roles for non-profit organizations. Mary began their career as a Freelance Writer for Natomas Journal in 2007 and then worked as a Writing Intern for The Folsom Telegraph in 2008. In the same year, they joined Benevilla as a Marketing and PR Manager, where they developed and implemented strategies, collaborated with Fund Development, and managed newsletters. From 2010 to 2014, Mary worked as a Communications Manager for The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, where they created PR strategies and secured media coverage. Mary then progressed to the role of Marketing Director at the same organization, taking charge of the overall marketing plan and supporting fundraising goals. Currently, Mary holds the position of Chief Marketing Officer at The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, managing marketing activities with a focus on fundraising.
