Robert Gower

Robert Gower is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in procurement, operations, and winemaking. Currently serving as Category Manager for Woolworths South Africa at Solent Group since October 2023, Robert has previously excelled as a Senior Procurement Specialist and Senior Specialist Buyer at Woolworths, where leadership of the Wine team resulted in doubling turnover and market share. As Chief Revenue Officer and Director at Under the Influence, Robert oversaw operations across 25 African countries, while earlier roles included winemaking and vineyard management at various wineries. Robert holds a B. Comm in Financial Accounting from Stellenbosch University, complemented by foundational education at St Andrews College.
