Lyla Kohistany

Lyla Kohistany, Ed.D, is a Senior Fellow at The Soufan Center, a Career Coach at The Honor Foundation, and the Chief Executive Officer/Founder of Honor the Promise. Lyla is also an Ambassador at the Global War on Terrorism Memorial Foundation and a Guest Lecturer at Georgetown University, with expertise in Global Business Intelligence & Cross-Cultural Communication. Additionally, Lyla serves as President/Co-Founder of PROMOTE Leadership, providing mentorship and leadership development education. Lyla is a South Asia Expert at USSOCOM and a Non-resident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council. Lyla holds a Doctor of Education from Arizona State University, a Master of Arts from Georgetown University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Penn State University.
