Larry Bartel

Director Of Inpatient Safety And Quality at The Southeast Permanente Medical Group

Larry Bartel has extensive experience in the medical field, starting their career as a Hospitalist at The Southeast Permanente Medical Group in 1999. Over the years, they have taken on various roles within the organization, including Director of Inpatient Safety and Quality. In 2005, Larry also joined The Southeastern Permanente Medical Group as a Hospitalist Team Lead. Additionally, they served as a Palliative Care Physician at The Southeast Permanente Medical Group from 2007 to 2013. Outside of their clinical roles, Larry Bartel was a Member of the Board of Directors at the Medical Association of Atlanta from 2011 to 2021.

Larry Bartel holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University. Larry also obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
