Currently serving as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at The Spaceship Company and a Senior Industrial Engineer at Boeing, Hans specializes in ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards while managing manufacturing project plans and collaborating across various teams. Previous roles include Senior Manufacturing Development Engineer at AIM Aerospace, Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Belcan Engineering, and Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at GKN Aerospace, where Hans developed quality evaluation systems for complex spaceflight assemblies. Hans began their career at Penn State University, obtaining an education from 1968 to 1972.

The Spaceship Company (TSC) is Virgin Galactic’s aerospace-system manufacturing organization. Headquartered in Mojave Air and Space Port in Mojave, California, it is building and testing a fleet of WhiteKnightTwo carrier aircraft and SpaceShipTwo reusable spaceships that, together, form Virgin Galactic’s human spaceflight system.
