Sandy Sands

Sandy Sands has 9 years of experience as a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer at Salient Systems, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they were a Quality Assurance Engineer at Salient Systems, beginning in 2013. Before that, they were a Sr. Compatibility Testing Technician at AMD from 1999-2013. During their time there, they tested development supporting a test execution team, built and ran a QA farm to support automated operating system, device driver and tool installations, and supported a database for the company to update and organize software stacks for different programs/projects. Sandy also had 13 years of experience in automated testing, including development, support, training, and execution in Beijing, Taipei, and Shanghai.

Sandy Sands attended Texas A&M University from 1986 to 1987, studying Physics. Sandy then attended San Antonio College from 1987 to 1989, studying Philosophy. From 1989 to 1990, they attended The University of Texas at San Antonio, studying Mathematics. Finally, they attended Lamar University from 1990 to 1991, also studying Mathematics.
