Lara J.

Lara J. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Lara started their career as a Leasing Assistant at Transwestern in 2001 and then moved on to work as a Financial/Administrative Manager at the Maryland Department of Natural Resources from 2002 to 2005. Lara then worked as a Senior Recruiter at Accountants International from 2005 to 2009, where they played a key role in client development and contract negotiations. Lara also worked at Ingenium Corporation from 2009 to 2011, taking on roles such as Corporate Recruiter, HR Generalist, and Facility Security Officer. Lara joined The Squires Group in 2011 as a Senior Resource Manager, taking on additional responsibilities in training and development and social media. In 2018, Lara became a BODi Partner at The Beachbody Company, and in 2019 they took on the role of Outreach and Social Media Coordinator at DC OAUG.

Lara J. obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a Concentration in Industrial and Government Organization from McDaniel College, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Lara also has a certification as a Certified Social Sourcing Recruiter (CSSR) from AIRS.
