Kimberly Kolarik has extensive work experience in teaching and coaching roles. Kimberly currently works as a High School Social Studies Teacher at Annandale High School since August 2020. Kimberly is also a Lacrosse Coach at both St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School and The St. James since August 2020 and July 2020 respectively.
Prior to their current positions, they worked at Northeast High School from August 2016 to August 2020 as a Teacher, specifically teaching AP Modern World History and Honors U.S. Government. Kimberly was also the Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach, Head JV Volleyball Coach, and Content Team Leader during their time there. Kimberly developed data-driven comprehension benchmarks for all U.S. Government classes.
Before joining Northeast High School, Kimberly worked as an Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Virginia Tech from August 2014 to June 2016 and at Lehigh University from August 2013 to August 2014.
Kimberly Kolarik completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from the University of Virginia, graduating in 2013. Kimberly also holds additional certifications including a Google Certified Educator Level 1 from Google for Education, obtained in August 2020. Additionally, they obtained certifications in coaching and professional development over 20 hours from Edpuzzle and Pear Deck, respectively. The exact dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
